NSW Enterprise Workshop: For people who want to learn how to start-up or expand a business, and others who want to gain business knowledge and skills to improve their employment opportunities. The Workshop offers a practical and intensive team-based program over 5+ months and is held largely out of business hours. The Learning Process is based on preparing a complete business plan - financial, marketing and operations plans - for a real business project. Participants work in teams. Their progress is assessed throughout the program. Business plans are evaluated and feedback is provided by senior business people. The NSW Enterprise Workshop is a not-for-profit Industry-Government body run by volunteer senior business people - set up in 1979 by the Federal Government to provide practical business education. The Government 'partner' is the NSW Department of State and Regional Development.
